The lost boys : Financial troubles force a recent divorcee and her teenage sons Michael and Sam to settle down with her father in the California town of Santa Carla. At first, Sam laughs off rumours he hears about vampires who inhabit the small town. But after Michael meets a beautiful girl at the local amusement park, he begins to exhibit the classic signs of vampirism, ''sleep all day,party all night'', Fearing for his own safety, Sam recruits to his friends who claim they are vampire hunters, to save his brother finding out the history and destroying the head vampire.
I like and chose this film because i think that the actors/actress' that have been chosen,were good at playing their part.
I also really enjoyed the story of the film because there are some unexpected and funny parts in it.
The first Screenplay of the film was written by Janice Fischer and James Jeremias, Although the final one was written by Jeffrey Boam, who was hired to do the final rewrite.
Joel Schumacher Directed The Lost Boys, Schumacher has also Directed the Batman films,after Tim Burton had done his.As well as Directing for films,Schumacher also directed the music video's "Kiss From a Rose", by Seal, and "The end is the begining is the end", by The smashing Pumpkins (co-directed with Jonathan Dayton And Valerie Faris)

During the production of the film, Keifer Sutherland thought it would be funny to play around on the motorbike that he had to use,this only ended in him falling and breaking his arm,Meaning that the gloves he was supposed to wear in one scene,had to be worn for the whole film to hide his cast.
